As far as the issues go she is right where she needs to be. She is about as liberal as it gets and can reach the moderates. In another election, she would have the nomination without a question. She is a former Senator. She is a former Secretary of State. She has foreign policy experience. She is the perfect candidate except for her name.

Hillary is exactly what the party wants; a household name, political savvy, and a lot of money. The problem is, those things are currently not what the people want. Sure she's been carrying the numbers in the polls but there are some other candidates who seem to be biding their time.

Even in the face of the current odds, she could still win the nomination and win it handily. I'm not going to be the one to count her out but she still has a lot of work to do.

The Left's Opinion

The all but anointed candidate of the democrat party, Hillary has many obstacles to overcome. While her name is her biggest asset, her name is her biggest liability. There isn't anyone in the voter rolls of America who doesn't know who Hillart Clinton is. That's the problem. The citizens of this country are tired of the political ruling class of both parties and she epitomizes this group of politicians.

Madding to her troubles are the countless ethical issues and more importantly, the legal issues that are dogging Mrs Clinton every day. She cannot step in front of a microphone without being asked about her emails, Clinton foundation troubles or some other scandal. I'm certainly no campaign manager but it is hard to see a path to victory with so many detracting variables to her campaign.
