Dear Ungrateful College Students...

Today, there was an attempt to reach a million student "march". A combined effort to protest the cost of a college education and other various goals. The amount of ignorance in these protests is staggering and illustrates perfectly how uneducated our youth have become. This march perfectly illustrates the irony that is the failure of our education system. If they truly knew how an economy and taxes worked, they wouldn't be out there screaming like idiots. There was a multitude of incoherent issues brought up by this "movement" but let me focus on the more poignant one. A "free" college education. First things first, there is no such thing as FREE anything. No free healthcare, no free birth control, no free education. Sure, it might be free to you, the end user but it was paid for by someone else. Now, you might say, "well yeah, that's what I deserve!" Well I have news for you, you don't deserve anything. The reason America is the greatest country in the world is because her citizens understand personal responsibility. They understand that to get what you want, you have to work hard for it. They understand that this country thrives when it's good people go to work, make money and get after the American dream. It still exists folks, the question is, how hard are you willing to work for it? Let us also remember, that we wouldn't have any of the things we enjoy, if it wasn't for our brave military members. Those that have fought and DIED for your right to complain about your first world problems. They do it bravely every day without complaining, despite your ignorant and arrogant "protests" just two days removed from veterans day. What a slap in the face to those that give it all every day, shame on you. You cannot and will not ever be successful in this country if you do not work your tail off for everything you have. The world does not care about your problems or what you think you deserve. The reality of life is that it can be just as cruel no matter your skin color, gender or sexual preference. Each of us despite our differences are provided not only that harsh reality but also the same beautiful opportunity. If you work hard and keep pushing, you will get what you want, I promise you that, so does America, you just need to believe it. So to everyone that reads this, do me a favor. When you see one of these wannabe protesters on your way to or from work, remind them that what they want will be paid for by your tax dollars. Don't hold your breath waiting for a thank you, you won't get it. Instead hopefully, just maybe, they will stop and think for two seconds about the sacrifices paid by others for their freedom. Hopefully one day they will wake up and realize what's going on here like the rest of us and go to work and stop complaining.
